Extra Office Hours and Final Exam Information

Currently I plan to hold the office hours below. These extra hours are intended for students who attended class regularly during the semester, not for students who chose to miss a lot of classes. This page may be updated on short notice; please re-check it the morning of the day you want to see me. If the Monday time conflicts with one of your exams, but you would like to see me on Monday, call or email me to set up an appointment.

Thurs Apr. 27: 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Fri. Apr. 28: 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Mon. May 1: 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon

Tues. May 2: 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. This is the day of the exam. On this day, I will only be answering relatively short questions, such as "Am I doing this right?". If there is a topic you really don't understand, Tuesday is too late to ask me about it; make sure you see me by Monday, and sooner if possible.

Updated information about final exam

Please note: Once the final grades are turned in, they will be available from ISIS (http://www.isis.ufl.edu/). I will not email any information about scores on the exam or final grades. If you want to know how you did on the exam, you may see your exam in my office during the summer and fall semesters.

Please do not ask me what grade scale I plan to use for the exam or the course. From the syllabus and the comment sheets handed out after the midterms, you already have all the information that there is concerning these questions. These are questions that are not worth worrying about, since the answers should have no impact on how you study for the final. Your object should be to do score as high as you possibly can on the final (or on any exam), regardless of what letter grade that turns out to be.
