MAS 4105 Section 5287 (24829) — Spring 2025
Tentative, Very Approximate Weekly Schedule of Lectures
Last updated Mon Jan 6 02:07 EST 2024This schedule is just my (Dr. Groisser's) best guess and hope, as of the start of the semester, of what chapters or sections of the textbook will be covered when. I do not teach large-lecture, cookie-cutter courses. Exactly what I cover, and when, depends on many factors, including but not limited to students' preparation, students' questions, and the eventual need to go through certain topics more slowly than I might estimate at the beginning of the semester.
Therefore I cannot give an exact schedule of weekly topics, let alone precise assignments, before the semester starts. I add to the then-current homework assignment after almost every class, and update the assignment on the homework page. However, you can get a good approximation of what I am likely to assign by looking at my Fall 2024 homework page. If you do that, keep in mind that the weeks will "break" differently this semester (the fall's first class was on a Friday, and there were many holiday-shortened or hurricane-shortened weeks in the fall that we won't have in the spring).
