• Review of Advanced Calculus: notes by Mat Gluck. Mat Gluck is a former UF graduate student who took MTG 6256–6257 from me in 2010–2011. He received his Ph.D. from UF in 2014 and is currently a postdoc at the University of Oklahoma. These notes, with which Mat has kindly provided me, are based on the Advanced Calculus review I gave in MTG 6256 in fall 2010. I am providing them as a resource for this year's students, but will not be teaching directly from them. I have not proof-read them, and there are (indicated) portions that were not proof-read by Mat either. I may omit various items that are in these notes, may add items, may change the order of presentation, may change notation, may change proofs, etc. My 2010 presentation had some inefficiencies and one or more minor mistakes (for example, neglecting to state that in various definitions, the vector spaces should be assumed to have positive dimension) that are reflected in these notes, through no fault of Mat's. Mat also made some changes and additions in order to use these notes in a course he was teaching.
